To change your vacation to be different with ecotourism that offers both value and fun at the elephant jungle sanctuary (EJS), we bring everyone to do useful activities. Emphasize the importance of elephant conservation and sustainable tourism at the same time. We have experienced guides who are well familiar and friendly with the Thai elephants. To introduce the history of each elephant in the camp, there are also skilled mahouts who also take care of safety closely while tourists do various activities with elephants. The package deal includes two traditional Thai buffet meals, pick up and drop off to your accommodation in Pattaya (terms and conditions apply), drinking water and even food for feeding the elephants! When you arrive at the Sanctuary, the guides will give you a basic overview of the tour, our elephant welfare programs, some information about the elephants. Since the tour can get messy and wet (in an incredibly fun way!), we suggest that you bring some things with you. Bring a hat, sunscreen, a bathing suit, a towel and a change of clothes to our Pattaya elephant sanctuary. You can also bring a camera with you but if you are worried about taking photos with the elephants you need not worry. Elephant Jungle Sanctuary offers a photography service at no extra charge. The photographer will take photos of you throughout the day and upload the photos to Dropbox, which you can then access through the link on the EJS Facebook page. Throughout your visit to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, you will be feeding, bathing and even playing with the elephants. It is also important to us that you learn as much as possible about the elephants and why it is important to protect them. With the money we raise from visits and donations, we can contribute to elephant welfare. We rescue elephants, feed them, provide veterinary care as well as land and infrastructure for them to live on. The elephant village in Pattaya also has another option is the ‘Feed Me’ program where you can watch the elephants roam freely in the sanctuary Feeding them and still learn about how we transform elephant poop into the paper.
